I am an Associate Professor at the SLAC National Accelerator Center in the Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology (KIPAC).

I do research and write publications in the field of high-energy astrophysics, using X-ray and gamma-ray telescopes, both space-based and ground-based. This is a very exciting time to study the violent Universe because for the first time we have instruments that are sensitive to a vast number of exciting processes, giving us insights into the highest-energy events occurring in our Universe.

Interested? If you are interested in joining my group or doing a rotation project as a Stanford Student send me a line or stop by my office (preferably at SLAC). Also, KIPAC and SLAC hires several postdocs each year. Contact me for details.
